Course programme
Course Content
The course includes revision of prior knowledge and updates you on the impact of the latest legislation. The nature and effects of ionising radiation, identifying and quantifying the radiation risks involved in dental radiology are also covered. The principle components of the IRR1999 and 2000 legislation will be outlined and how the legislation impacts on clinical practice.
The course will also provide guidelines on the appropriate implementation and operational management priorities leaving you confident that you understand the roles and are meeting the responsibilities of the Employer, Referrer, Practitioner and Operator.
