About this course

- Set up a basic multi-page, multi-column document
- Lay out a double page spread with images and text
- Flow in and determine import options for text
- Create, save and apply different types of styles
- Save and file work for future development
- Identify how to run basic pre-flight checks.

No books are necessary to take this course, but you should have a notepad for your written notes. It would be useful to bring a memory stick (or portable hard drive – please note PC formatted hard drives can be read by Apple mac computers, but not written to.) CDs/DVDs are available.

You will be taught with demonstrations, short lectures, practical exercises and hand outs. The course-work comprises practical and creative exercises and mini-tasks these will be supported by one-to-one guidance where necessary. Please note the City Lit uses Apple Mac computers in Digital arts, Graphics & Illustration and Photography.
