Description:
This three year Development Course is aimed at young people leaving school. Students with additional support needs will be working at Access 1 / 2 levels. The course aims to promote independence, maturity and confidence by setting individual targets. Each learner is encouraged to reach their full potential.
All learners are assigned a Guidance tutor and receive a high level of guidance and support throughout their course. Each learner will have an Individual Learning Plan.
The course aims to prepare you for adult life and, possibly, supported employment or community projects. Learners are supported by appropriately qualified tutors. During the year, the staff may attend reviews, held by other agencies.
