Course programme

Course description

The course is aimed at managers and supervisors of passenger and goods vehicles fitted with digital recording
equipment. The course will highlight their responsibilities under the legislation and give them practical experience
of working with the digital equipment.

Objectives

To equip managers and supervisors to make practical use of:
• specific digital recording equipment
• the driver smart card and management of their company card
• interacting with the vehicle unit
• working with UTC
• accurate manual data entry and production of printouts
• cards and equipment downloads

Assessment

It should be noted that all delegates will be expected to demonstrate their understanding using digital
recording equipment and participate in various exercises to assess their knowledge.

Certification

On completion of the course an FTA certificate of attendance will be issued.
