The BSc Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship is designed to develop graduate-level software engineers through a combination of work-based training and academic learning. The programme delivers the UK Government Apprenticeship Standard for Digital and Technology Solutions Professionals. It allows apprentices to work during the day and study during the evening.
The degree is suitable for apprentices and existing employees working, or preparing to work, in the following areas:
Software engineering
Computer programming
Systems analysis
Systems design
Software development
Software testing
Please note: apprentices on this degree are funded by their employer so are not eligible for a student loan.

About this course
Graduates can pursue careers in software engineering, information systems development, web development, programming, IT management, project management, research and consultancy.
We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.
Apprentices should have mathematics and English GCSE grade A-C or new grade 7-4, or equivalent, and A-level grades BBC or equivalent qualifications totalling 112 UCAS points (e.g. BTEC Diploma in Information Technology, Extended Diploma at Level 3).
