Digital Photography - Beginners (Level 1 Award)

This course in digital photography will suit anyone who has always had an interest in photography but has not been sure how to take it further. It will suit the novice and the beginner. We assume no or very little prior knowledge.

You will be taught the basic operations of the camera such as the effect of exposure time, aperture, ISO, white balance and focal length. Basic Photoshop skills will be taught to allow you to fine tune your images. We will also introduce short assignments that allow you to explore genres such as still-life, landscape and portraiture.
