About this course

This course is for people aged 19 or over. A level 2 qualification is needed to enroll on this course. Learners will need access to a digital camera with fully manual controls, eg, digital SLR or any camera that has aperture and shutter speed controls.

Introduction:
This course will help you understand digital photography/imaging and its applications. The qualification is one of the best known in the sector, enabling you to produce a high standard of work and understand the underlying principles which affect all photographic and digital imaging. It is a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to A level). All classes will take place on Wednesday evenings, 6-9 pm, in specialist facilities at the beautiful Park Campus, which is a centre of excellence for creative arts.

Study Mode & Location:
This one year part-time evening course for one year for 3 hours per week. It will be held at Preston College Park Campus, Moor Park Avenue, Preston, PR1 6AP.

Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
