At this level we go in depth and digging more the principles of photography. You will learn to control your images, "make" rather than "take - record" an image by learning how to control your exposures, the composition elements and how to design your pictures. Also, you will also learn how to enhance your photographs trough the "Introduction to workflow" lesson. Suitable for: Do you have a basic understanding of camera commands and have taken pictures for a while but no signs of improvement? Did you buy a more advanced (expensive) camera but your pictures did not improve? Come and join us and get a good understanding of the photography principles and how you can make the most of your camera capabilities.

About this course
For all courses / workshops you will need a Digital Camera (ideally a DSLR) with Fully Manual Exposure Mode. If you are not sure about your camera's capabilities please contact Ion to discuss about this. If you haven't got a camera yet but still want to attend the course you can borrow one of our spare semi-professional DSLRs + lenses + flashgun + tripod for the duration of the course. If you are planning to buy a new camera, Ion can offer advice on what camera and lenses to buy according to your budget and the photography style you wish to pursue.

Ion is a self taught photographer specialising in architecture and portrait. He’s been living in the UK, London over the last 7 years. He fell in love with photography long time ago and he found it to be a consuming passion ever since. He bought his first DSLR camera 4 years ago and devoted himself to photography particularly architecture and portraiture. Ion strives to bring out each people's personality in his photos and to tell the story and spirit of each special day through his captures.
Course programme
Digital Photography Course for Intermediates is a 2 day course with 30% theory and 70% practice, exercises, practical examples, impromptu demonstrations, outdoor shooting and the opportunity to discuss and ask questions after each topic. (pick and mix topics depending on your needs).
