Course Aims:
Aromatherapy offered as an evening class provides ultimate flexibility for students who wish to gain a Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Holistic Therapies over 2 years.

Course Content:
The Aromatherapy component provides a necessary core unit in the full time course. The course includes:

• History of Aromatherapy
• Mixing and blending essential oils
• Chemical families
• Indications for Aromatherapy
• Contra-indications to Aromatherapy
• Practical massage of the back, neck, legs, arms, upper chest, abdomen, face and scalp
• Other methods of use e.g. inhalation, compress work

Start Date: Thursday 3rd September 2009

Duration: 33 weeks

Day/Time: Thursday 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Qualification: VTCT/IHBC Diploma in Aromatherapy

Cost: £322 (includes VTCT fees, assessment book fees)

Students are required to wear a white therapy tunic and black trousers.
