2. Course description You will learn through taught classes, practical activities and individual study. Classes will include group work, discussion, written tasks and creative projects. You will be assessed through your course work and in the workplace, therefore you need to be working or volunteering or on a practical placement in order to show competence in both knowledge and skills. In your workplace or practical placment, you will need to complete 400 hours or up to 16 hours a week, as an important part of the assessment process involves evaluating 'skills' in real working situations.
