About this course

You should have GCSE grade D or above in English and mathematics, have a keen interest in the industry and you should be physically fit.

City & Guilds/CITB

On successful completion of this course you will be in a better position to find employment within the industry. This could be in a College apprenticeship scheme or a CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) scheme. It is not possible to become fully qualified unless you gain employment in the industry and are assessed on site.
