Course Description:
This course is suitable for learners who do not meet the entry requirements of a Level 2 course and wish to follow a career in Hairdressing.
The course is an introduction to the Hairdressing industry.

Description Breakdown:
The course comprises of 12 units - Introduction to hair and Beauty sector,Presenting a Professional Image in a salon, Shampoo and Conditioning,Colour in the Hair and Beauty Sector,Styling women's hair, Styling Men's hair,Plaiting and Twisting,Create a hair and Beauty Image, Follow Health and Safety, Working with others, The Art of Dressing Hair. Each unit has practical assessments and assignments. Some of the units also have a small test.
The learner will also gain a Qualification in Personal and Social Development
The Learner will also take three Functional skills Qualifications in English, Maths and IT. These will be used to enhance the learners skills throughout various aspects of the course.
