Course programme
You will gain an introduction to animal care and countryside studies.
You will cover the following subjects:
- care of animals,
- farm animal health,
- handling of small animals,
- caring for farm animals,
- propagation of plant from seed,
- feeding small animals, and
- small animal health.
Entry Requirements
- A minimum of four GCSEs grade E or above, including English language and maths at grade F or above, or
- an entry level 3 qualification, entry level 3 English and entry level 2 maths, or
- an interview and initial assessment indicating that you are working at entry level 3 and you are able to achieve level 1 English and entry level 3 maths within one year.
You must have a keen interest in working with animals or the environment.
