Disability Issues - a distance learning course by BSY Many people dream of living in a genuinely inclusive community where differences and diversity are celebrated, the equivalent opportunities are freely available to all and capability rather than disability, is what people notice. This course provides a foundation of knowledge on disability within the framework of today's society. It inspires students to give thought to disability and helps them dispel common perceptions and attitudes about individuals with disabilities. Students will leave this course with a broad knowledge of the problems and dilemmas people encounter every day and ideally have grown in understanding and empathy.
