About the course If you are working, or interested in working with people with disabilities, this course aims to develop your skills, knowledge and expertise relevant to roles in education, social services, support services, information/advocacy services, leisure and retail. Focusing on the lived experience of disabled people, you will explore and critique society’s barriers to their inclusion and participation as individuals with equal rights to citizenship, and examine relevant legislation and policy. This course is designed to fit around your work and/or family commitments, linking theory to your work-based experience, giving you a wider view of disability and enhancing your career prospects.

About this course
A foundation degree will be of particular interest if you have completed a Modern Apprenticeship, vocational A levels, BTEC National or equivalent. Foundation degrees are also particularly suitable if you want to qualify while working. / entry As a guideline, a typical offer would require you to obtain a UCAS tariff score of between points, based on your level 3 studies. Many students studying for foundation degrees come to us through work-based routes so you can apply for a foundation degree even if you don't have traditional academic qualifications. .
