Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of the course delegates will be able to: -

  • Define and understand the rules of disclosure in accordance with the Criminal Investigation and Procedures Act 1996.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities created by the Codes of Practice.
  • Define the approach to disclosure of different categories of material.
  • Understand the Crown Prosecution Service model of forms used in the process of disclosure.
  • Design and implement legally compliant procedures to record, retain and reveal information.
  • Understand the implications of non-compliance.
