To take into account
The main objective of this training course is to give you the “hands-on” knowledge and practical skills for your chosen trade, regardless of your current level of ability. This is a uniquely structured blended learning program, delivered by a combination of theory and practical skills acquisition.
This course is aimed at people with no previous electrical experience that would like to start a new career as a domestic electrician and gain recognised UK qualifications.
Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) (QCF)
Courses are split into 3 key areas; Practical (within a training centre), Theory (within a class-room environment) & Home-Study. Course Benefits Accredited fully equipped state of the art training centres with workshop and classroom facilities, staffed by expert tutors with many years’ industry experience. NVQ on site: Rapid NVQ certification – convert your technical certification to a full NVQ in as little as 3 weeks. Continue in your current job and earn money until you are ready to start work in your new career. Learn at your own pace and take breaks between modules as and when you require. Access to expert tutors to help with any queries, both at the centre when you do your practical workshops by phone and email. On successful completion of all the aspects of the training course, you have the option to move up and complete an NVQ. This cannot be achieved at a training centre and without the underpinning knowledge, but only by completing a portfolio of diverse evidence of onsite work. Our recommended training providers offering courses in electrics run their own construction projects which presents a unique opportunity for you to convert your City & Guilds technical qualifications into an NVQ with them in as little as 3 weeks.
