About this course
Learning basic machine and hand sewing skills, you will have finished the day and left with a handmade fabric doorstop.
Anyone who is confident in using the basic's of a sewing machine and would like to make something unique, personal and useful.
No requirements required.
A Friendly atmosphere and some great handmade gifts to be bought in the shops in Maws Craft Centre too. There are also lovely walks you coould take after around historic site of Jackfield.

Course programme
- Create a paper pattern of your chosen doorstop design.
- First sew and fill the inner bag with your dry weight.
- Sew up outer bag, (this is usaully handsewn)
- Decorate doorstop accordingly with handsewn attachments.
