The Door Supervisor training course is widely respected and once delegates have received their SIA door supervisor license they may work as: Door Supervisors, Security Guards, Retails Security Officers and Event Stewards. Door Supervisorraining is delivered in two parts as follows:
Part 1 - Role and responsibilities of a door supervisor This includes admission policies and procedures, refusing entry, searching, seizing articles, eviction, use of force, offensive weapons, how to comply with the law, how to deal with emergencies, drugs, arrest, scene preservation and report writing.
Part 2 - Communication skills and conflict management This includes candidates managing conflict by applying a practical approach to risk, the importance of self-awareness, acting proactively, teamwork strategies, methods to resolve conflict and learning from conflict.
