Our Double Masters in Asian & European Affairs MA will give you an in-depth knowledge of the politics, economics and society of Asia and Europe. You will study at two world-leading institutions: Renmin University of China, where you will benefit from its expertise on China and Asia; and King’s College London, where you will benefit from our expertise in European affairs. Together we will provide you with the knowledge to critically understand and assess Asian, European and global politics.

Courses are divided into modules, and students on this course take modules totalling 210 credits. Please note that you will take 28 RUC credits (which equates to 30 credits at King’s College London) and 180 credits at King’s.

- Theories of International Relations & Asia-Pacific Cooperation (4 credits)
- Contemporary Japanese Politics (3 credits)
Year 1 (Renmin University of China)
In addition, you are required to take six credits from a range of optional modules that may typically include:
- Chinese Foreign Economic Relations (3 credits)
- Sino-US Relations (3 credits)
- Organisations & Institutions in China (3 credits)
- China & Asia-Africa Conflict Countries (2 credits)
- Contemporary Chinese Society (3 credits)

- Students may also take up to three credits in modules taught in Chinese by the School of International Studies at Renmin.
