"The extruder is the one in charge of drawing, a forming process that induces a change in the shape of the raw starting material through the plastic deformation due to the action of forces exerted by equipment and dies. Metal drawing continuously produces long wires, bars with a circular section or complex profile with 3 or more sides and tubes (the bars already enter their final shape, the drawing only serves to increase the mechanical properties through surface hardening and improve dimensional tolerances).
