Develop your drawing and illustration skills and learn how to harness the method of sequential storytelling to create your own exciting comics. A wide spectrum of contemporary examples and materials will be used to encourage you to think creatively and employ an innovative approach. Over the duration of this course you will learn how to plan, create, execute and print your own comic.

About this course
- Undertake visual research
- Write your own script
- Plan and create your own story
- Use drawing and mark making to develop and enhance your story
- Complete a page of a Comic Story
- Understand a range of different printing processes.
You will need your own pens and A4 sketchbook for completing work at home. Other materials will be provided for work in the studio.
It would be useful to bring a memory stick (or portable hard drive – please note PC formatted hard drives can be read by Apple mac computers, but not written to.)
