Kick Start your Dreamweaver Skills. Use Adobe's Dreamweaver to build and publish web pages, quickly and professionally. This intensive one-day course is designed to give you core Dreamweaver skills. These will range from creating simple web pages, through to, how to publish you finished site to a web server. The course will demonstrate how Dreamweaver writes HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Stylesheets) the core languages in web page production.

By the end of the course, using practical hands-on tuition, you will have an understanding of the following features and techniques:

  • Setting Up Dreamweaver – set up Dreamweaver to administer you web site project
  • Creating HTML Documents – see how quickly Dreameaver builds HTML documents without any requirement to write any code
  • Import Content – load you HTML documents with content from other sources such as Microsoft Word, PDFs and text files.
  • Document Structure – learn best practice for structuring your content inside a HTML document
  • Add Links – add hyperlinks between documents in your web site and to other external web pages
  • Insert Graphics – see how to quickly insert graphics into your web pages using the web friendly image formats JPG, GIF and PNG.
  • CSS and Document Formatting – understand how CSS is written by Dreamweaver. See how CSS styles your pages with colours fonts and images
  • External Styles – create an external style sheet to provide a consistent look and feel across your web site
  • Page Layouts – consider page layout options and understand screen resolution issues
  • Navigation Bar – learn how to add a navigation bar to your page layout and consider good practice in web site navigation
