Our Early Years Level 4 course is perfect for existing Early Years Practitioners who are looking to take their knowledge in childcare to a higher level.
This course is particularly suited to those wishing to set up their own Child Care business, and for those wishing to work in a supervisory or management-level position in the Early Years environment.
To gain this qualification you will study and you will be able to demonstrate that you hold in-depth knowledge of what it takes to manage and lead a superior team of early years’ practitioners.
You will also be able to demonstrate that you know what it takes to give care that is to the highest standards as outlined in the EYFS. (The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a curriculum framework that has been compulsory in all child care settings in the UK since 2008 as stipulated by the Child Care Act 2006.)

On this course you will:
Develop the knowledge and understanding of how to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and manage all aspects of children’s learning and development from birth to the age of 5.
Go into depth to provide a sound knowledge of crucial aspects within a childcare environment for management and senior level members of staff including safeguarding, managing a team, professional partnerships and how to work to the highest standards within early years.
This Level 4 course in Early Years will provide you with a comprehensive insight into the main areas of early year's childcare.
Our Early Years Level 4 course is perfect for existing Early Years Practitioners who are looking to take their knowledge in childcare to a higher level.
You don't need any prior skills in the subject area to start this course.
This qualification comes with NCFE CACHE Level 4 certification. NCFE CACHE have been developing courses in the childcare, education and healthcare sectors since 1945 and are one of the most reputable awarding bodies for qualifications in the UK and overseas. Practitioners working in these areas are much more employable having gained NCFE CACHE certification and many employers specifically ask for their qualifications when taking on members of staff.
You could progress to a Level 5 qualification such as the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England). The qualification will also prepare you for further study of early years in higher education.

Unit 1: Supporting the Emotional and Physical Well-being of Children

Each unit is followed by a written tutor marked assignment (TMA), which is submitted and then marked by your tutor. You will not be required to take an external exam.
