Emagister presents you with this European Computer Driving License (ECDL), which is an internationally recognized IT qualification developed to provide participants with the skills to use a computer with confidence and efficiency. This official ECDL online course can help you improve your understanding and use computers efficiently. The course opens numerous opportunities through the extensive range of skills it provides.
The ECDL qualification is widely recognized by employers as proof of skill and competence in working with IT. The ECDL is designed for beginner and intermediate users of computers, those who have no previous experience and offers a flexible work program. ECDL is the world leader in computer skills certification. To date, more than 14 million people have committed to the ECDL program in more than 100 countries.
Please note: the ECDL online course covers Windows 7 and up to Office 2013 and exams must be presented at a registered ECDL test center. We recommend the IT Essentials (RQF) course - Level 2 for students with Windows 10 and Office 2013 or later. The IT Essentials course covers the same subjects and will result in a certificate of completion for those who do not want to get a grade, or students can pay the additional accreditation fee and receive a level 2 certificate of IT user skills. with 32 credits through the presentation of courses, so there is no need to attend an examination center.

About this course
There are no particular entry requirements although students should be able to comfortably use the Internet. The recommended settings to run this course are: Internet Explorer; Flash Player; Popup windows enabled; and Minimum Windows 7 Operating System. It is possible to use other browsers to run this course although the BCS recommend using Internet Explorer as elements of the course require Flash and Java which may not be supported in other browsers.
The BCS and ECDL Portfolio of qualifications have been designed to map directly into ITQ so that when you gain a BCS or ECDL certificate you will also be receiving ITQ certification. ITQ is a portfolio of qualifications which replaced the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) for IT and computing. It is a nationally-recognised programme which has been designed by employers to meet the needs of today's businesses.
