The Edexcel / IHCD D1 course is for personnel required to drive ambulance vehicles on non-emergency duties, such as patient transport. Personnel gain the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to drive ambulances in a safe and smooth manner with due regard to patient safety and comfort. Suitable for: Any professional driving groups, organisations and individuals who wish to develop their driving skills to the highest standards. If you wish to work for an UK NHS Ambulance Trust, Edexcel / IHCD courses are the only recognised ambulance driver qualifications.
