In completing the EDI Level 2 Award in Equality and Diversity, learners will gain knowledge of the following areas:

Behaviour appropriate to the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
How to actively help others in the promotion of equality and valuing of diversity
How to contribute effectively to promoting equality and valuing diversity The qualification is suitable for learners who are seeking employment or already in employment.
It is a generic qualification so is appropriate for all sectors. The qualification will be accredited onto the QCF. It consists of one unit worth 4 credits. The unit will be assessed via a multiple choice test which will be available as a paper-based test or online.
