History
The Edinburgh Therapy Academy which was founded in the year 1999 by Judith Craig. Following a long standing career of lecturing in health and fitness and working extensively in the field of Complementary Therapies in Britain and abroad, Judith launched the academy which has continued to thrive and develop healthily. The Edinburgh Therapy Academy is committed to offering quality programmes of study in a variety of therapies and subjects.

The ITEC courses are internationally recognised acrcedited level 3 diploma courses.
The Edinburgh therapy academy runs small classes for more valued one to one time in class with a maximum of 12 students to a class.
All classes are run at weekends so can be studied while in full time employment. Payment plans allow flexible affordable costings.
Gail as the Principle is a full time Massage therapist and reflexologist so is constantly updating and experiencing day to day conditions and some less common conditions.
Areas of specialisation
Anatomy and Physiology run as a seperate diploma so can be studies without a practical course. Or can be sat first then the practical course after if full time work does not allow time to study both together.
Description
Gail Walkingshaw is the principal of The Edinburgh Therapy Academy. Gail trained with Judith from 1999 and went on to teach in the school as an associate tutor. The Student Charter and Code of Conduct information included in this prospectus offer further information on the ethos, aims and expectations of the academy.The School offers ITEC Diploma qualifications: The Diploma courses are approved and examined by ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council), the largest Body examining in Complementary Therapies. All Diploma qualifications achieved are also approved by the QCA (Qualifications Curriculum Authority) and are Internationally recognised as professional, vocational awards. All Diploma courses are offered in Edinburgh as part time programmes of study at weekends.
