Applicants are required to hold the following:

A recognised full teaching qualification in the Lifelong Learning Sector e.g. DTLLS, 7407 Stage 3, Cert Ed or PGCE.
L2 qualification in literacy.
Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in their subject specialism.
There are no formal entry requirements for numeracy or IT. However, support will be available in order for students to achieve level 2 in both these areas by the end of the qualification. This may require some independent study.
