Course programme
If you have successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) or the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) your module selection will be different.
Compulsory modules- EDU8033 Investigating Educational Leadership
You will take further optional modules to a value of 20 credits from:
- EDU8172 Leadership and Strategic Management
- EDU8133 Critical Reflection on Professional Practice
Modules might change for your year of entry.
Entry Requirements
An undergraduate degree and relevant professional experience in an educational context.
We don't need your employer's permission for entry to the course, but you should discuss the focus of your assignments (where necessary) with appropriate colleagues/line managers.
You will need to have current access to educational workplaces (eg through employment or educational consultancy), but you do not need to be in a leadership role.
International StudentsInternational students must follow a full time degree course to receive a student visa. If you have a working visa you may be eligible for part time study on this course.
If your first language is not English you need an overall IELTS score of 6.5
