Description:
This is a practical, work related course and is suitable if you are an apprentice following a training plan. The BTEC National Certificate is equivalent to 2 A Levels which means that when you have finished the course you can choose whether to get a job straight away or go into higher education first. You will study 12 units including: business systems, communication, science, mathematics, electrical/electronic principles, electronics, analogue/digital electronics, fault finding, circuit manufacture, robot technology, programmable controllers and a project.
