Course programme

Every workplace must make provisions for emergency first aid and this video explains the basic procedures involved in the most common emergency first aid situations.

All basic first aid procedures are examined, including what to do if you come across an emergency situation, how to treat various types of casualties and how to record any incidents that have taken place. This video follows guidelines and procedures issued by the British Red Cross and St. John Ambulance, and was revised in 2006 to comply with the latest guidelines from the Resuscitation Council (UK).

This title can be used for induction training of appointed persons and all other staff as required by the new Skills for Care Common Induction Standards.
