This course is aimed at teaching you the fundamentals of First Aid and how to deal with Emergency First Aid (Saving lives) and basic First aid in the Work place. This course meets the requirements of the HSE for work places within a Low risk environment, eg. Offices, shops and libraries. Suitable for: Anybody from a small/medium business working in a Low risk environment or candidates from larger companies who are required to support First aiders in the work place.

About this course

There are no requirements for this course other than that you are sufficiently mobile to be able to provide CPR to a casualty who is not breathing. This involves getting up and down from the floor.

Anthony served with the Royal Engineers for 25 years and completed his service as the Senior Military Instructor at the National Search Centre. A qualified DfT approved Aviation Security instructor, Anthony is a council member for the Institute of Munitions Clearance and Search Engineers (IMCSE). Anthony was instrumental in the development of VQ's for Search and Security Search.

Course programme

This first aid training course is suitable for small/medium low risk companies with fewer than 50 employees where a nominated person is required to take charge during a first aid incident. An Emergency First Aider (EFA) would also be suitable to support fully qualified First Aiders in larger organisations.
