Course programme

Should you run a small business, you may not require an FAW qualified person, however, it is recommended that at least one of your staff has a basic knowledge of first aid to take charge in an emergency. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is ideal under these circumstances. The candidates are shown how to perform CPR and required subjects. Candidates will receive a certificate valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

Subjects include:

* Aims of the First Aider
* Priorities of Treatment
* Heart Attack
* Stroke
* CPR (Adult, child and baby)
* Choking (Adult, child and baby)
* Care of the Unconscious Casualty
* Recovery Position
* Seizures
* Blood Loss
* Internal Bleeding
* Shock
* Wounds and Dressings
* Burns and Scalds
* Record Keeping

Although these subjects are compulsory, we can tailor the course to suit the needs of your environment.
