Summary
This course consists of 3 units and will give you all you need to prepare you for working in the Beauty Therapy Industry.
About the Course
Unit 201 - will enable you to take responsibility of your own learning and development within the industry. You will look at career prospects, development opportunities and the basic employment rights and responsibilities within the beauty therapy industry.
Unit 202 - you will learn the knowledge and skills to maintain health and safety in the salon, and following and carrying out emergency procedures.
Unit 203 - this unit will provide you with the skills to carry out client consultation on a range of beauty therapy treatments. It will include: communication and organisational skills, the ability to work unsupervised, how to adapt techniques according to the situation, how to evaluate clients' needs and advise on the best treatment or programme of treatments.

What next?
Any other Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy or Holistic Therapy course. This is a pre-requisite of all Level 2 Certificates in Beauty Therapy and can be studied alongside other qualifications.
