About this course
You will develop an understanding of the need for energy use reduction and how energy distribution, storage, supply and demand, efficiency improvements, market drivers, planning processes, social and cultural aspects, governmental policy and finance can affect the uptake of renewable energy technologies.
For this course you will be joining a module of CAT's new Sustainability and Adaptation MSc course.
You must be over the age of 18 years when this course starts.

Renewable Energy Systems looks at the breadth of technologies available to harness energy from wind, water, solar and biomass, as well as the use of heat pumps. The course delivers an experienced understanding of Renewable Energy Systems through practical and theoretical sessions, with tours of CAT’s on-site renewable systems. Practical sessions accompany classroom based learning to make this overview of Renewable Energy Systems dynamic and diverse.
