This is a one year full time course working in partnership with our industry partners and has been designed to give students engineering practical skills and knowledge in preparation for apprenticeships, work or progression to a Level 3 full time course. This course is aimed at preparing students to enter the exciting world of engineering by giving them a grounding in many of the core engineering skills, working safely and effectively, together with an introduction to computer aided design (CAD). The course is suitable for School Leavers who would like an interesting and challenging career within a variety of engineering industries including… Manufacturing, Energy, Aerospace, Maintenance, Design, Welding and Fabrication, Automotive and Defence.
