The Engineering Diploma Level 3 is aimed at people currently working in all areas of the engineering industry


The Engineering Diploma can also form part of an Apprenticeship framework. This exciting programme offers an alternative to traditional AS/A Level study. It provides an opportunity to advance skills and career potential within the field of engineering.


The course covers the fundamental electronic engineering concepts and skills required of a technician, including engineering, maths and science as well as providing a sound basis for further study at higher education level.


Compulsory units cover working effectively and safely in an engineering environment, and engineering principles and practice. A further mandatory unit covers specific principles of engineering.


Delivery of this course is through structured lectures, practical activities, assignments, visits, student-centred learning and personal tutorials.
