Modules at Level 2 include: Working Safely in an Engineering Environment Working Efficiently & Effectively in Engineering Using and Communicating Technical Information Engineering Environment Awareness & Techniques Engineering & Fabrication and Welding Principles Manual Welding Techniques Producing Sheet Metal & Plate Work Components Assemblies and Cutting & Shaping Materials Using Thermal Cutting Equipment. Modules at Level 3 include: Engineering & Environment Health & Safety Engineering Organisational Efficiency & Improvement CAD Pattern Development MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA Welding Producing Plate Fabrications Marking Out Components for Metalwork Joining Fabricated Components Using Mechanical Fasteners Producing Fillet Welded Joints Using a Manual Welding Process. You will be required to study a technical qualification at either Bradford College or Leeds City College (Keighley).
