- Approaches to Poetry and
- Approaches to Shakespeare or Contemporary Writing or Introduction to Old English
- Introduction to Philosophy A and B
- Introduction to Formal Logic
- Choose from:
- Philosophical Texts 1, 2, 3 or 4
- Introduction to Philosophy of Science
Year 2:
- Literature 1 (1200-1500) followed by Literature 2 (1500-1700) or
- Literature 1 (1200-1500) followed by special subject or
- Special subject followed by Literature 2 (1500-1700)
- Realism
- Normativity
- Plus at least two units from:
- Epistemology
- Political Philosophy
- Philosophy of Mind
- Ethics
- Philosophy of Language
- Logic 2
