Course description The aim of this course is to widen knowledge of vocabulary and grammar to facilitate communication on a variety of topics.At Intermediate level you will:• increase your vocabulary and communicate with growing confidence, • read and discuss a range of written texts, including newspaper and magazine articles,• improve your listening skills, including listening and responding to spoken English at normal speed.

3. Entry requirements Intermediate level is suitable for those with a good, basic grasp of English. To find out which level is best for you, come along to our Advice and Enrolment session to take a short grammar test and speak to the tutors.Information, Advice & Enrolment sessions will take place on the following dates and times:Monday 24th April 2017 10.00-11.30amTuesday 25th April 2017 6.30-8.00pmClasses are friendly and informal. Sometimes you will work in pairs or groups so that you can practise speaking more. Your tutor will give you regular feedback and help you to assess your progress and achievement.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs.
