Course programme

Year 1

The course consists of four units which link together and provide support in helping learners with developing their English skills. The units include Analysing English language for literacy and language teaching, reading skills for literacy and language teaching, speaking and listening skills for literacy and language teaching and writing skills for literacy and language teaching. The course will support those who are delivering Skills for Life, GCSE, Functional Skills or who would like a better understanding at how to support learners with developing their English skills.

Additional information

You will be assessed via three written assignments and a presentation.
