Enhanced Professional Practice, BSc (Hons) / GradDip / Diploma
-
I had a great experience, I must say it was irreplaceable. Living on the campus my first year was amazing and though living away from home as well. Though I still feel connected and sociable due to this feeling offered by the University. Their support is good and is of top standard.

Description
The BSc (Hons) Enhanced Professional Practice is an academic award developed to enable health and social care professionals undertaking work-based learning and practice development to gain academic credit for their learning. This is a flexible work-based modular programme which comprises level 3 studies.
The degree will be delivered using work-based learning with the opportunity of attending taught modules of up to 40 credits if the student chooses. The first (core) module ‘Starting your Professional Development’ will comprise 4 taught days in the College. Subsequent modules will either be existing taught level 3 modules from the undergraduate module catalogue or work-based modules.
For the work-based modules students will, in conjunction with a practice facilitator and the programme manager/tutor, develop learning contracts which will be aimed at meeting the learning requirements for the module and practice development needs in their practice areas.
To be awarded the BSc (Hons) Enhanced Professional Practice, the student must achieve 120 credit points at level 3 which must include the two core modules.
