The programme has been developed to enable you to start up and run a fully functioning business. If you want to set-up your own business then this Level 3  Diploma is for you. You will start and run your own micro business for at least four weeks. You will also learn more about yourself, and how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. You will interact with both national and local entrepreneurs, working on a range of business challenges.

Course programme

You spend three days a week in college participating in lectures and workshops as well as in hands-on enterprise activities. Units covered during the course include: • The Innovative Entrepreneur • Business Planning and Pitching • Operating your Business • Leadership and Teamwork • Working as an Intrapreneur (the entrepreneur in an existing business) • Financial Planning and Implementation • Launching your Business Vision • Monitoring the Performance of Your Business • Planning the Future of Your Business • Market Research and Analysis • Financial Literacy and Awareness • International Business • E-Marketing and Website Design • Brand Development and Promotion • Social Enterprise. A strong emphasis is placed on working and learning with others and you are regularly set tasks to complete in partnership with other students. You also need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your own learning.
