This qualification can be completed as a standalone or as part of the Enterprise Advanced Apprenticeship. The aim of this qualification is to give employers in the private, public & third sectors a workforce that has the enterprising skills required to compete in the future business environment. By developing the knowledge & competencies required, enterprise learners should be able to enhance the productivity, profitability & competitiveness of the organisations in which they are working.

How will I study?

The qualification aims to: • develop the enterprising skills of new and existing members of staff so that they can contribute to the productivity, profitability and competitiveness of the business • tap into the skills and talents of a diverse population by providing flexible entry routes into the world of work • give individuals the skills, knowledge and experience needed to assist businesses in addressing internal and external challenges and following up opportunities that enable business and organisational development • give learners an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and experience they can apply in different contexts, whether progressing to higher level roles with additional responsibilities, starting their own business or moving on to further or higher education.
How will I be taught?

This is an 18 month course starting 14 September 2015 and completing 31 March 2017. The 3 hour lessons are held on Wednesday morning’s from 9:15am to 1:15pm. For applicants who have not achieved their Level 2 English, Maths and ICT, there will be additional classes held on Wednesday afternoon’s. There will be some additional requirements to complete your portfolio of evidence, which will be reviewed frequently with your allocated Assessor.
How will I be assessed?

Assessment should be through the production of a portfolio of evidence presented for assessment by a suitably qualified Assessor.
