Introduction

The Active IQ Award in Basic Health and Fitness is a ‘life-skills’ qualification at entry level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework.

Qualification Structure and Unit Content:

This qualification comprises two units, namely:

Unit 1 – Introduction to Health and Fitness

  • Worksheet

Unit 2 – Improving Health and Fitness

  • Personal activity programme (9 sessions)
  • Accept assessor/tutor feedback
