Equality & Diversity - Half Day Workshop

This workshop is designed for all managers and members of staff who interface or have contact with external customers, other agencies or undertake any partnership working.

Overview:

This workshop provides delegates with the knowledge and skills in recognising and dealing with equality and diversity in the workplace. It includes progressive development activities which will enable the delegates to demonstrate improvements in their performance.

The highly-practical½ dayworkshop is delivered by aHR Specialist, and provides an insight into the issues concerning equality and diversity within the work environment and makes sure organisations are fulfilling their legal duty under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 .

Due to the interactive nature of this training, a maximum group size of20 delegatescan attend the training.

Learning Methods

* This is a highly participative and practical workshop! Delegates will have the opportunity to develop their skills through a participative approach.

* Methods include group discussion, practical exercises, DVD and formal input designed to reflect situations relevant to the delegates.
