To apply for Indefinite Leave To Remain or British Citizenship you will need to show knowledge of Life in the UK.
Depending on your level of English, there are two ways to prove this:
1.By taking the Life in the UK Test.
2. By taking combined ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Citizenship Classes.:
UK Border Agency/ Home Office Approved ESOL with Citizenship course. If level of your English is bellow than Entry 3 or you have been failed in Life in the UK test, than this is a right course for you.

UK SKILLS CENTRE is pleased to announce the starting of "ESOL with Citizenship Programme aimed at Communities whose first language is not English.
The course is specifically taught with citizenship materials and is aimed at people whose English levels are very low. We are the cheapest in the UK, and fully registered. You can use this certificate whenever you want to because there is not any expiry date on it. The certificate is registered and recognized. With this certificate, we will also give you a confirmation letter for the Home Office confirming that, you have done the ESOL course with the Citizenship Context. With these two documents you are ready to apply for your Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, Naturalization or British Nationality. You can use the same certificate for both for your Indefinite Stay application and after that for your British Passport application.
