ESOL Entry Level 2

Course Aims:
To consolidate and develop previously acquired skills and knowledge of ESOL. To encourage and enable participants to apply English in an increasing range of situations and circumstances.

Course Content:
* Extend repertoire of familiar expressions in a variety of social and everyday-like contexts
* Develop a survival lexicon based on self, family, daily life, shopping, work, public services, learning sites etc.
* Read and understand short simple texts
* Write notes or messages accordingly to anticipated needs

Progression:
ESOL Entry 3 Course.

Awarding Body:
Trinity

Exam:
By spoken and written examination.

Qualification:
Trinity qualification at the appropriate level.

Level:
NQF Entry 2

Other Costs:
None, subject to eligibility

Duration:
3 hours per week for 30 weeks
