You'll work on improving your communication and math skills, while earning industry tickets to help you qualify for the job you want. Following this program, students may enter the workforce or continue their education in the Pre-12 or Grade 12 programs.

What You Will Learn

As an essential skills student, you will improve your ability to work with numbers, communicate, read and write. You will be given opportunities to gain the skills that make you ready for the workplace, including:

  • Job shadowing and volunteer opportunities
  • Mentorship, coaching and links to employment
